Where is River Bend Elementary and How do I get There?

River Bend Elementary School is currently housed in a temporary facility located at 3851 Spring Forest Road, Raleigh, NC 27616. In December, 2008, we will move into our permanent "brick and mortar" school located near the intersection of Fox Road and Louisburg Road near the new Wake Technical Community College campus.

From Downtown Raleigh: Take Capital Blvd/US1 north towards Wake Forest and make a right onto Spring Forest Road. Our school is located approximately ¼ mi on the left, just past East Millbrook Middle School.

From Wake Forest: Take US1 south towards Raleigh and make a left on Spring Forest Road. Our school is located approximately ¼ mi on the left, just past East Millbrook Middle School.

What are the hours of operation at River Bend Elementary?

Our school day begins at 9:15 AM and ends at 3:45 PM. Students may be dropped off for school at 8:45. Our offices are open from 8:45 AM until 5:00 PM each day. If you are registering a child for their first day of school, please arrive by 4:30 PM.
