New Year begins for River Bend Elementary

A New Year and a New School

The 2008-2009 school year will being on Monday, July 7.  The media center staff is excited about the scheduled move in November to our permanent location off Louisburg Road.
                                

Along with a larger library in the new school, the media center will also receive more books!  3,000 new titles will join our current collection.

The media center operates on a flexible access schedule, with fixed classes for grade K-1.   A student’s grade level determines the number of books he/she can check out.

Kindergarten—1 book.
First Grade—2 books
Second Grade—2 books.
Third Grade—3 books.
Fourth Grade—4 books.
Fifth Grade—5 books.

Parents, students, grand parents are encouraged to visit the library.   We look forward to seeing you.
